Following comments made by people who attended the last FanFest we decided to have a meeting with the GT helpers and staff of PAFC, and we have made some changes to the way that the Swindon FanFest will work, we hope this will improve the experience for everyone at the event and eliminate the small issues raised from the last FanFest, here are some of the changes we are making:-
Stage will be moved to far end of Pyramid suite to enable more space in middle of Suite.
A second paid bar will be placed at the far end of the pyramid suite serving bottles of drink, to try and cut the queues at the main bar.
Pasties and Free beer will both be served from the Marque at the back of the Pyramid Suite, and will be collected by customers in exchange of the voucher, there will be 3 people working this area to make sure queues are kept down and everyone gets their free pasty and beer.
New signs pointing people the direction to the Bar, Free Bar, Pasty collection point to make it easier for people to see where they are going.
Side door at front of Pyramid will be opened with a security officer on the door to check tickets and allow people to go straight to the Marque at the back of the Pyramid for the free Pasty and beer.
Round tables will be removed from the Pyramid and replaced by oblong tables and will have a selection of chairs and benches around these to accommodate more seating area.
We hope the above will address the main concerns people had at the last fanfest and will allow people to experience a better day at the fanfest.
We hope people will bear with us while we try these different options, to try and accommodate people, but we are limited to the area we have for the time being and will endeavour to make sure any concerns are dealt with.
