Green Taverners Update

Good afternoon all,

What a week it has been! We have hosted 13 events during this past week including two weddings, PAFC Community NCS workshops, opening before the friendlies and hosting the late Peter Hall’s wake. We have loved being able to open for private events again, and were honoured to be able to host Peter’s family in our Supporters Bar to ensure he had a worthy send off.

It is a testament to our fantastic team that we have been able to host lots of events during such a short space of time, especially during these uncertain times. Although covid-19 restrictions have eased, the hospitality industry is still being impacted by the high levels isolation. Even whilst operating with a reduced workforce, we have still delivered a fantastic service at all of our events.

We have made the difficult decision to host the carvery fortnightly for now until the winter months. This is due to staff shortages, and the carvery not being as popular in the warmer weather. This will be starting from this week (1st August) and will take place every other Sunday until otherwise notified.

A massive thank you to our staff, volunteers and customer for their support since reopening. We really appreciate you all.
