GT Thanks

Following discussions with all the members of the Green Taverners fundraising committee we felt it was appropriate to say a few thanks to people and organisations that have been very helpful to the Green Taverners over the last 8 months.

Firstly a massive thanks must go to Pasoti who without we would have struggled to get the exposure to the fan base, also thanks to all the members who have supported us in not only staff donations but also in helping out at events, publicizing events, and spreading the word about what the GT’s do.

We must also say thanks to the local media who have helped to add exposure to people outside of the online world, we also have various fans who prefer to remain anonymous that have made regular contributions to the staff fund, one gentleman springs to mind immediately as the person who comes to the FanFest every game for about 2 minutes and purely comes to make a £100 donation.

St Austell Brewery especially Mark Stephens, who has helped us out at all occasions possible.

Thanks must also go to everyone around the GT’s who have helped out at events, and also helped to increase awareness of the day and help to collect money for the staff fund.

Finally the biggest thanks of all must go to the Staff and Players of PAFC who without we would no longer have a football club, they have been amazing in their commitment to supporting PAFC in its hour of need.

Without all the above people and many more who know who they are the GT’s would not have been the success they have been, and we might not have had a football club now!!

We are now looking forward to the announcement of the new owner and helping the club grow and return back to a stable footing, and also back in the upper leagues where we belong.
